Split case pump
It is equivalent to two single-suction impellers of the same diameter working at the same time, and the flow can be doubled under the same outer diameter of the impeller; the pump casing is opened horizontally, which is convenient for inspection and maintenance.
End suction pump
End-suction pumps are actually single-suction pumps. The single-stage end-suction centrifugal pump is a simple type of centrifugal water pump. This kind of water pump generally has a small flow rate and is mostly a small pump.
End suction pumps can either be closed or flexible coupled. A closed coupled pump has the impeller directly mounted to the motor shaft without any coupling in between.
